I know, I can do the job as Josephine County Treasurer.
By following the Law and working with the departments Staff.
I have run my own business since
1992 right here in Josephine County. When, I started Hardwoods Plus Company not knowing anything about

Your Treasurer, as with other county positions have had only one candidate running, typically the
Voting for an elected position with only one candidate is just, a popularity vote. I, personally
refuse to vote for any position that fields, but one candidate, (like judges).
When a misprint

Tax-Statement. And was dated and sent out as (July 1, 2018 to
June 30, 2019). I, expected the department to reissue or at least inform the public of their
Neither happened, to the best of my knowledge.
I do not
fault the Treasurer's Tax Department for making the mistake.
However , I do blame the department for their seemingly unprofessional attitude dealing with this issue,
that, probably reflected on the Josephine CountyTreasurer.
Government policies dictate the functions of this office. So not being in government outside the 4-yrs in the
USAF and part of citizens advisory committee, I have not been trained to conform, in fact I was the opposite.
I think having government experience should be a (-)negative, not a (+)positive.
