Let Us Now Try Liberty

Away with the whims of government, their tariffs, their government schools, state religions, their free credit, their bank monopolies, their regulations, their restrictions, their equalization by taxation, and their pious moralizations!

And now that the legislators and do-gooders have so futilely inflicted so many systems upon society, may they finally end where they should have begun: May they reject all systems, and try liberty; for liberty is an acknowledgment of faith in God and His works."

part 1 Introduction. The Brave New World portrays a parable of the dehumanizing of human beings. When man has become subordinate to his own inventions, science, technology and social organizations. The things that cease to serve man, are now his master. And monogamous love has become a crime. part 2 Introduction. The "Brave New World" is a study of the future, as it maybe unless we are extremely careful. It depicts a society in which man is replaced, nature by science, morality by drugs, individuality by total conformity it's a hideous prospect, but we seemed determined to follow this path of self destruction. The choice after all is in our own hands.

The price of liberty, is eternal vigilance, Aldous Huxley warned in 1956, adding that the time line of his The Brave New World should have been 2140.

How Was Bureaucracy viewed 85 Years Ago?

"To change the crippling influence of runaway bureaucracy is our foremost problem; and upon its solution depends the survival of the American way of life. The sheer bulk and range of government today, top-heavy, loose-jointed and running amuck with arbitrary powers, has become a suffocating restraint upon our whole economy."

Bureaucracy: As defined in the "Webster's New World Dictionary" college edition [un-known-date]

is the administration of government through departments and subdivisions managed by sets of officials following an inflexible set of rules; governmental officialism or inflexible routine.

Bureaucrat: an official who follows and insists on an inflexible routine.

Things have not changed much, have they. The challenge is still educating, the young, the old, the elected officials and ourselves. The Josephine County W4ACG committee supports our founding documents, the Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights, which are the frame work of our Constitutional government. We therefore, are loyal to this Constitutional Government, not a tyrannical democracy. Justice Black may have said it best; loyalty comes from the love of a good (constitutional) government, not the fear of a bad one. Therefore it's, for "We the People" that this Political Action Committee was formed. This committee will only support those candidates who are loyal to our Constitutional Government, above everything else, and only those measures that do not deprive us of our basic Inalienable Rights of Life, Liberty, Property, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

"When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another,… [ continues ] … we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our Sacred Honor." Sound familiar? It should, it's part of the first and last sentences of our Declaration of Independence.

It's one thing to put people in possession of the Truth, yet it's another to get them to understand it, and to get people to act upon it is another Still. Truth by itself has no value unless used or applied in some way.
